Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. After checking in, drive to Thamel for evening stroll.
Day 02Full day sightseeing including: Patan's Durbar Square: The Square is full of ancient palaces, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings. The Durbar Square consists of three main chowks or court-yards: the Central Mul-Cowk, Sundaru Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk. The Sundari Chowk has at its centre a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal bath called Tushahity. Mahabouddha, Krishna Mandir, Kumbhishwar, Industrial Estate. Swayambunath: One of Buddhism's most glorious stupas. Swayambunath is said to be 2,000 years old. Situated on the top of a hill west of Kathmandu city, it is one of the most popular and instantly recognisable symbols of Nepal. The temple is also known as "Monkey Temple" after the large tribe of handsome monkeys which guards the hill and amuses visitors.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: one of the popular and most visited places in the Kathmandu Valley, it is liked by many visitors due to its exquisite architecture and artistic embellishments. It contains the Royal Palace with different temples, dating from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Here, the Kings of Nepal were crowned. Things of interest for the visitor to see also include the Talaju Temple, the gigantic figure of Kal Bhairav (the God of Destruction) and the temple/residence of the Kumari - the living goddess. All around Durbar Square buildings are embellished with exceptionally beautiful, and sometimes erotic, carvings.
Day 03Early morning drive to the Trisuli River for whitewater rafting. Overnight at Royal Beach Camp.
Day 04After Breakfast we will start our rafting trip and after lunch drive to Chitwan National Park. You will see a slideshow and learn about the National Park. Overnight at Rhino Lodge
Day 05From early in the morning you will be busy with your program which includes an Elephant Ride and Jeep Safari in the heart of the jungle. In the evening you will enjoy a performance of traditional dance and music. Overnight at Rhino Lodge.
Day 06Morning visit to the nearby Elephant Breeding Centre. After lunch, drive to Pokhara.
Day 07In the morning you are free. Optional Paragliding is available. Afternoon sightseeing to Davis waterfall and cave, Tibetan Camp and Phewa lake. Pokharais Nepal's second largest city. The beauty of Pokhara is its lovely lakes, whose sources are the glaciers of the Annapurna range. Pokhara is situated 200 kms west of Kathmandu at an altitude of 830 meters. From Pokhara one has views, weather permittitng, of Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre (which is known as a fishtail), five peaks named 'Annapurna' and other spectacular mountains. Pokhara itself is in a sub-tropical setting. Machapuchre, for example is only 28 kms from Phewa lake and not a single mountain range intervenes between the two.
Day 08Free time for shopping, sightseeing, paragliding, or drifting on the waters of the lake
Day 09fter Breakfast drive to Nagarkot (230km). On the way we will stop for lunch, arriving into Nagarkot in time for the sunset. Overnight Nagarkot. Located 30 km to the east of Kathmandu on the valley rim, Nagarkot is a favorite weekend getaway for those seeking splendid Himalayan scenery and rural serenity. From Nagarkot, you witness the stunning view of mountains that extend all the way from Dhaulagiri in the west past Mt. Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east.
Day 10From Nagarkot after breakfast you drive to the airport for your flight back home
Airport Pick up and drop by private vehicle.
